The Panamá Hard Rock Hotel Rock-star’s Museum

On my last vacations I was in Panama City. It was on December 2015, for Christmas season. We choose the Hard Rock Hotel to spend our time over there. OK, I must recognize it wasn’t just vacations. Initially, our trip was related to our work. It was an interesting academic congress but it was only two days. When the event ends our true free time began. Anyway, all time we stayed at the same hotel.

When we arrived at hotel we got surprised because in all the hotel's walls there were different rock-star's clothes. Since the most important rock singers and music bands in whole world such as Mick Jagger, Steven Tyler, Elvis Presley, Cher, Madonna, Michael Jackson, ACDC, AudioSlave, Korn, Kiss, Coldplay, Prince, even some artists not too recognized. There were shirts, pants, jackets, shoes, coats, skirts, until underwear as well, each one from the showbiz people. It was impressive.

The most surprising and incredible thing was to find the Carlos Vives’ Jean shorts, the Shakira’s dress and the Juanes’ t­-shirt. I never thought I could find something of a Colombian artist. I don't like the music of those artist, in fact I hate them, but it was nice to see some that represent to Colombia abroad.

The hotel has a dark and fancy environment. Maybe some dark related with the rock style that defined it. The hotel is not cheap due to each person pay. That mean you do not pay for room but per person hosted.

Although I was homesick on last day worth to be there. In the hotel there are many activities and services for you. Several restaurants and discos, a big pool and wet zone, great shopping mall, souvenir store and obviously the awesome museum inside. The Hard Rock Hotel is a great place to spent your vacations in Panama.
