The Perfomance Photography

The Tate Modern

Last month I travelled to London for watch a game of one of my favourites teams, Arsenal Football Club in the Emirates Stadium. At the end of the game, you wouldn´t believe me who I saw... Emmanuel Lubensky, a winner of three Oscars in the category for Best Photography. I approached to him to say I didn´t like Gravity Movie, but besides that I´m really fan of you.

Yves Klein
Yves Klein                                                           Yavoy Kusama                                                     Cindy Sherman

He was very kind and invited to all we were close to an exhibition of photography where 50 seminal photographers will explore the relationships between photography and performance, engaging provocative and sensational topics like humour, improvisation and irony, and how most of the important artist, like Yves Klein and Yavoy Kusama captured perfomance or Cindy Sherman and Hannah Wilke used photography to explore identity. I was very excited for this.

The exhibition called " Performing of the Camera" will be between February 18 to June 12 in The Tate Modern. It´s recommended to all lovers of photography from professional to fans of this amazing art.
